What is FISTULA
Fistula is a medical condition in which an abnormal connection forms between two internal organs or between an internal organ and the skin. This connection creates a passageway that allows bodily fluids or waste products to flow between the two areas. Fistulas can form in a variety of body parts for example, in digestive system, urinary tract, and reproductive system. There are three types of fistulas that are diagnosed in clinical practice. Anal fistulas is most common ones while arteriovenous fistulas and vesicovaginal fistulas are also reported. Infection, inflammation, trauma, surgery, Crohn's disease may causes the fistulas. Fistula symptoms are depending on the severity of the ailment. Symptoms normally starts with pain, then swelling and discharge to infection.
Anal FISTULA
An anal fistula is a small channel that develops between the skin near the anus and the end of the bowel. It is usually the result of an infection in an anal gland that doesn't heal properly. The infection can cause a pus-filled abscess to form. The abscess can then spread to nearby tissue and create a tunnel or tract between the anal gland and the skin, resulting in an anal fistula.
Surgical drainage is usually used to treat anal abscesses. However, homeopathic treatments have amazing effects. 50% of these abscesses will develop into a fistula, which is a small tube that connects the afflicted gland within the anus.
Anal Fistula Causes
The most common cause of anal fistula is an infection. Infection normally develops in an anal gland, which further causes an abscess to form. Other possible causes of anal fistula are as follows.

SYMPTOMS OF ANAL FISTULA
The symptoms of an anal fistula may include:
- Pain and discomfort around the anus, especially when sitting or during bowel movements.
- Swelling and redness around the anus.
- A discharge of pus or blood from the anus.
- A persistent itch or irritation around the anus.
- Fever, chills, and other signs of infection in severe cases.
It's important to note that hemorrhoids or anal fissures have these symptoms as well.
TREATMENT IN HOMEOPATHY
Many surgical disorders, including anal fistula, piles, and anal fissure, respond well to homeopathy treatments. To prevent a person from surgical operations, homeopathic treatment is the greatest option thus far. The discharge associated with anal fistula gradually reduces with regular use of homeopathic medications, as do the symptoms of discomfort, irritation, and itching.
