    • WHAT IS SCIATICA

    Sciatica is a condition where patients feels pain, numbness, or weakness along the path of the sciatic nerve.     • Spondylolisthesis: This is a condition in which one vertebra slips out of position and puts pressure on the nerve roots.
    • Piriformis Syndrome: The piriformis muscle is located in the buttocks, and if it becomes tight or inflamed, it can compress the sciatic nerve.
    • Trauma: An injury to the spine, hips, or buttocks.
    • Tumors: Rarely, tumors can develop in the spine and put pressure on the sciatic nerve.
